NJLN President, March 2024 – 2026
Dear Members and Colleagues,
As fall unfolds and we move into the final month of 2025, the New Jersey League for Nursing remains focused on advancing excellence in nursing education, leadership, collaboration, and recognition. In reflecting on recent milestones and looking ahead with purpose, we celebrate all we’ve accomplished together—as an organization and a dedicated membership committed to excellence.
Reflections from the 2025 NLN Education Summit —The Challenge: Unraveling the Mysteries of AI
In September, members of the NJLN Board, our Program Director, and I attended the 2025 NLN Education Summit in Orlando, Florida, where the spotlight was on Artificial Intelligence in Nursing Education. The NLN Summit offered powerful insights into how AI is reshaping curriculum design, simulation, and student engagement. From ethical considerations to practical applications, the Summit underscored the importance of preparing nurse educators to teach in a technology enhanced future. The NJLN remains committed to staying informed on these advancements—exploring how emerging technologies can support our educators and empower the next generation of nurses.
A Memorable Evening: The 2025 NJLN Nurse Recognition and Scholarship Awards Event, An Evening to Shine: Bright Hearts, Boundless Impact
On November 7, we proudly hosted the 2025 NJLN Nurse Recognition and Scholarship Awards Event—and it was a tremendous success. This annual tradition celebrated the heart of our profession, honoring the outstanding contributions of nurses and the promise of future leaders through our scholarship program. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who made the evening so special: our attendees, sponsors, advertisers, and supporters. Your presence and generosity uplifted our mission and helped shine a light on the dedication and impact of New Jersey’s nursing community. We once again congratulate all of our Nurse Recognition, Scholarship, and DAISY Award recipients, you all shine so bright. Take a moment to view the memories made in our photo gallery, as we placed a spotlight on nursing excellence.
Save the Date: 2026 NJLN Convention & Pre-Convention
As we close out the year, I encourage you to stay engaged and stay connected. And please save the date for our upcoming 2026 NJLN Convention and Pre-Convention, taking place March 25–26 at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City. We look forward to bringing our theme to life—“Bold Paths, Bright Futures: Empowering Nurses Through Learning and Connections”—with incredible speakers, exhibitors, and networking opportunities that inspire and unite.
There’s much more to come—and we can’t wait to continue this journey with you.
Warm Regards,
