Program Overview:The New Jersey League for Nursing’s Practical Nurse (PN)
Student Education Program has been developed by nurse leaders in the practical nurse setting to help students as they plan for
their transition from academic studies to practicing nurse. We do have an informative program planned to focus on “Journey
Into Practice – Taking the First Steps.” The NJLN will also award special nursing scholarships during the program.

This PN Program will explore three areas:
- Legal Aspects of Nursing
- Navigating the Nursing Job Market in the Digital Age
- The Bridge to Registered Professional Nursing

PRACTICAL NURSE EDUCATION DAY (PN DAY) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
We offer scholarships as part of our PN Day. Eligibility of participating school must be met to apply for this scholarship.
A minimum of ten (10) registered students from the participating school is required to be eligible for one (1) NJLN
Scholarship presented during the PN Program.
The New Jersey League for Nursing must receive all submissions no later than Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
